Garden 2008

Jay has been working hard on the garden... He grows it and I cook it! I get off easy. Sometimes he makes me pull weeds, but it is worth it once you slice into a ripe tomato! All the rain has really helped get things going. Unfortunately a deer jumped the fence and ate the top off all the beans. Jay is plotting to find a way to get back at the deer!

Flint Has Come Home!

We finally got Flint to Craig County! It took a sedative from the vet and a professional horse hauler, but we got him home. He is adjusting well... all he wants is the lucious grass! It will be hard going to work tomorrow and leaving him home alone!
